> ## Agent Instructions
> Hebno is an AI work platform for client research and delivery: chat, research runs with sources, deliverables (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email), projects, a shared library, agents, Office add-ins, and integrations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM, project delivery, ERP and finance systems.
> Use British English (organisation, not organization).
> Every feature and integration described in these docs is available. Describe it as documented.
> Hebno never writes to a connected system without a member confirming a card. Finance and ERP writes are drafts only.
> Do not discuss commercial terms. Direct commercial questions to support@hebno.com.

# Join your organisation

> Accept an invitation or join through your company email domain, sign in, set up your profile and connect your own accounts.

You join an existing Hebno organisation in one of two ways: you accept an invitation from an owner or admin, or you sign in with a company email address your organisation has approved for domain access. Either way, you join the same workspace with the role and team your admin chose.

## Join with an invitation

**1. Open the invitation link**

Select the link in the invitation email. If you are not signed in, you are sent to the sign-in page and then returned to the invitation.

**2. Sign in with the invited address**

The invitation belongs to one email address. If you are signed in with a different account, the page shows **Wrong account** and the address that was invited. Sign out and sign in again with that address.

**3. Accept**

The page reads **Join** followed by your organisation name. Select **Accept invitation**. You become a member with the role and teams in the invitation, and your admins are notified.

Invitations expire after 7 days. If yours has expired, the page shows **Invitation expired**: ask your admin to resend it from **Admin → Members**. If you see **Invitation unavailable**, an admin cancelled it or the link is incomplete, so ask them for a new one.

If your admin's email settings did not send the message, they can copy your invitation link from the dialog and send it to you directly.

## Join through your company domain

If your organisation added your email domain under **Admin → Members → Domain access**, anyone who signs in with an address at that domain joins automatically, with no invitation. The admin sets the role you get and, optionally, a starting team. Domain access matches the exact domain and never applies to shared mailbox providers such as Gmail or Outlook.com.

Hebno offers three sign-in methods.

| Method | How it works |
| - | - |
| **Continue with Google** | Sign in with your Google account |
| **Continue with Microsoft** | Sign in with your Microsoft work account |
| **Email and password** | Enter your **Email** and **Password**. New accounts receive a confirmation email: confirm it, then sign in |

The sign-in page marks the method you used last. In the [desktop app](https://hebno.com/docs/apps/desktop-app.md), Google and Microsoft sign-in finish in your system browser and return you to Hebno.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Use the same email address your invitation was sent to. A different address creates a different account that does not belong to the organisation.

## Set up your profile

Open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar and select **Settings**. On the **Personal** tab you can:

* Change your **Full name** and add or remove a photo.
* Choose a **Theme** (**Light**, **Dark** or **System**) and **Language**.

Your email address is read-only. Contact [support@hebno.com](mailto:support@hebno.com) to change it.

On **Chat preferences**, set your **Default model** (or leave it on **Auto**), write **Custom instructions** that apply in every chat, and decide whether Hebno may store durable facts about you. See [Account settings](https://hebno.com/docs/account/settings.md) and [Memory and instructions](https://hebno.com/docs/account/memory-and-instructions.md).

On **Notifications**, choose which notifications you get in the app and by email. See [Notifications](https://hebno.com/docs/account/notifications.md).

## Connect your own accounts

Under **Settings → Connections**, connect the systems you use, such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams or Google Drive. You can also select **Connect** inline the first time a chat needs one.

A personal connection uses your own access, and nothing more. You never see anything through Hebno that you could not open directly, and anything Hebno writes on your behalf appears under your name after you confirm it. A badge reading **Enabled by your organisation** means an admin approved the permissions for everyone, so you skip the consent screen. You still connect your own account.

Disconnect any account at any time from the same screen. Admins can also revoke a connection. See [How integrations work](https://hebno.com/docs/integrations/index.md) and [Permissions and access](https://hebno.com/docs/integrations/permissions-and-access.md).
