> ## Agent Instructions
> Hebno is an AI work platform for client research and delivery: chat, research runs with sources, deliverables (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email), projects, a shared library, agents, Office add-ins, and integrations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM, project delivery, ERP and finance systems.
> Use British English (organisation, not organization).
> Every feature and integration described in these docs is available. Describe it as documented.
> Hebno never writes to a connected system without a member confirming a card. Finance and ERP writes are drafts only.
> Do not discuss commercial terms. Direct commercial questions to support@hebno.com.
> Start with /index and /get-started/quickstart.

# Typeform

> Read Typeform forms, responses and Insights in Hebno, and create unpublished draft forms after you confirm.

The Typeform integration brings survey answers into your client work. Ask how Contoso store managers rated the new price labels, which themes come up in the open-text answers, or how many people dropped out before the last question, and Hebno answers from Typeform with each form and response cited. When a request implies a new form, such as a follow-up pulse survey, Hebno shows a confirmation card and creates an unpublished draft in Typeform only after you confirm.

## At a glance

| | |
| - | - |
| **Connection** | Personal connection. Each member connects their own Typeform account. |
| **Default access** | Read and write |
| **Attach** | Forms, a form's responses, a form's Insights summary |
| **Search** | Hebno searches Typeform when a request mentions a survey, form, questionnaire, respondents, answers or completion rate |
| **Link** | A project links to one or more Typeform forms |
| **Write** | Create a draft form. The form is unpublished until a person publishes it in Typeform. Every write needs a person to confirm. |

## Before you start

You need:

* A Typeform account with access to the workspaces that contain your forms. Forms in a shared workspace are available when you are a member of that workspace.
* An allowed integration. An owner or admin sets **Typeform** to **Allow** under **Admin → Connectors → Catalogue**.

Hebno requests these OAuth scopes:

| Scope | Why Hebno needs it |
| - | - |
| `accounts:read` | Identify your Typeform account and its data region |
| `workspaces:read` | List your workspaces and the forms in them |
| `forms:read` | Read forms, questions, logic, hidden fields, settings and the Insights summary for each form |
| `responses:read` | Read submitted and partial responses, answers, hidden field values and calculated scores |
| `forms:write` | Create a draft form after you confirm |
| `offline` | Renew access between requests without signing in again |

Accounts stored in the Typeform EU data centre connect in the same way. Hebno detects the region when you connect and reads from the matching Typeform API.

## Connect Typeform

**1. Start the connection**

Open **Settings → Connections**, find **Typeform** under **Surveys and research** and select **Connect**. You can also select **Connect** from the prompt in a chat.

**2. Sign in to Typeform**

Sign in, review the scopes on the Typeform consent screen and select **Accept**.

**3. Return to Hebno**

The card shows **Connected** with your Typeform account email.

Hebno reads and writes with your own permissions, so you see only the forms and responses that you can open in Typeform. Tokens are encrypted at rest. Select **Disconnect** at any time, or ask an admin to revoke the connection under **Admin → Connectors → Connections**.

## What Hebno reads

| Typeform object | Fields Hebno uses | Typical questions |
| - | - | - |
| **Workspace** | Name, members, forms | "Which forms are in the Contoso research workspace?" |
| **Form** | Title, questions and choices, logic jumps, hidden fields, welcome and thank you screens, last updated | "What questions did we ask in the store manager survey?" |
| **Response** | Submitted date, answers by question, hidden field values, calculated score, completed or partial | "How did store managers in the north region rate the new labels?" |
| **Open-text answer** | Question, answer text, response date | "What are the main complaints in the free-text answers?" |
| **Insights summary** | Views, starts, submissions, completion rate, average time to complete, drop-off by question | "Where do people drop out of the Contoso pulse survey?" |

Reads are live. Hebno queries Typeform when a request needs it, and reads responses in pages for forms with many submissions. Hebno counts and groups answers from the responses it reads, and says how many responses an answer is based on. Only what a reply used is stored with the conversation as its sources.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Excerpts a reply uses become part of the conversation. Anyone you share the conversation with can read them, including open-text answers and any names or email addresses respondents gave.

## What Hebno writes

Every write appears first as a confirmation card. You can change any field before you select **Confirm**.

| Action | Typeform object | Fields on the card |
| - | - | - |
| **Create a draft form** | Form | Workspace, title, questions and question types, choices, required flags, welcome screen, thank you screen |

A Typeform change pending confirmation. Nothing is written until you confirm.

Hebno creates the form with public access turned off (`settings.is_public` set to `false`), so the form accepts no responses until a person reviews it and publishes it in Typeform. Hebno never publishes or shares a form, edits an existing form, deletes forms or responses, or changes webhooks and workspace settings.

The form is created in your Typeform account, so Typeform shows you as its owner.

## Link a project to a form

Linking marks which Typeform forms belong to an engagement, so you can ask "what did the survey say?" without naming the form.

1. Open the project and select **Brain**.
2. Under **Linked records**, select **Link record**, then **Typeform**.
3. Search by form title and select it. Repeat for each form in the engagement.

In chats tagged to the project, Hebno starts with the linked forms for any survey or respondent question, and cards for new forms default to the same workspace. See [Linked records](https://hebno.com/docs/projects/linked-records.md).

## Use Typeform in chat

* **Attach**: open the **+** menu, choose **Sources → Typeform**, and pick a form, its responses or its Insights summary. Or type `/` and choose **Typeform**.

* **Ask**: name the form, client or question in your request. For example:

  > Summarise the Contoso store manager survey: average rating for the new price labels, split by region, with three quotes from the open-text answers.

  > Which question in the Contoso pulse survey has the highest drop-off, and how does the completion rate compare with the first wave?

  > Draft a short follow-up form for the stores that rated the labels 2 or lower, asking what they would change.

* **Research runs** show a **Checking Typeform** step, with a chip for each form and response set it read.

* **Agents** can read Typeform on a schedule, for example a Friday count of new responses with emerging themes. Writes an agent proposes appear in [agent approvals](https://hebno.com/docs/automate/agent-approvals.md) for review.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Fix |
| - | - |
| A form you expect is not found | The form is in a workspace you are not a member of. Ask the workspace owner to add you in Typeform. |
| Partial responses are missing from answers | Hebno reads completed responses by default. Ask for partial responses by name, and check that the form records them in Typeform. |
| Counts in Hebno differ from the Typeform **Results** page | Typeform Results applies the filters set there. Name the same date range or filter in your request. |
| A draft form fails with a Typeform validation message | Fix the question or choice the message names on the card and select **Confirm** again. |
| **Reconnect Typeform** appears | The authorisation was revoked or expired. Select **Connect** to authorise again. |
| Requests fail with a rate limit message | Typeform limits requests per second for each account. Wait a moment and retry, or narrow the date range. |
