Questions before you install
It is the same Hebno. You sign in with the same account and see the same projects, sources, citations, and deliverables. The app adds what a tab cannot: a place in the Dock or taskbar, files that save straight to Downloads, and hebno:// links that open a page in the app.

No. On a Mac you drag Hebno into Applications. On Windows, setup.exe installs for your user only.
Most changes reach the app the next time a page loads, because it runs the same Hebno as the browser. When the app itself changes, it downloads the update in the background and asks you to restart.
Use the .msi from the Windows card. It installs per machine through Intune or Group Policy and supports silent install with msiexec /i Hebno.msi /qn.
In your Hebno workspace, not on the laptop. Platform data is hosted in the EU or US, whichever your organisation chose, and access follows the same rules as the browser.
