365 Sherpas BPI advises companies, associations, NGOs and foundations on public affairs, corporate communications and crisis management. It has more than 50 consultants in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Brussels, and in 2026 it joined BPI Group, which connects it with teams in London and Washington.
The firm now uses Hebno to research approved sources and draft same-day briefings in its own formats.
“When Berlin or Brussels publishes something, clients want our view the same day. Now we have a draft in about an hour, and every pitch draws on what all our offices know.”
Dr. Daniel Wixforth
Chief Growth Officer, 365 Sherpas BPI
The challenge
Consultants tracked the Bundestag, federal ministries, EU institutions and the media by hand. Briefings, stakeholder maps and issue assessments were written from scratch, and a same-day briefing took most of a senior consultant’s day. That left less senior time for strategy and crisis work.
Each office also kept its own archive, so a Brussels file rarely made it into a Berlin pitch, even though the firm sells itself on connecting Berlin and Brussels.
Why Hebno
Hebno researches approved sources only and traces every claim back to its source. It gives the firm one knowledge base across all four offices, with access rights kept per client and team.
Output comes in the firm’s own briefing and pitch formats, in German or English.
How the team uses Hebno
Consultants use Hebno for policy monitoring, client briefings, stakeholder mapping and position papers. They also use it to prepare crisis Q&As and pitch decks.
The result
Briefings now take about an hour instead of a day. The firm submits around a third more pitches with the same team, and new business won across offices has nearly doubled.
