This public affairs and communications advisory group has 290 people across ten offices in Europe. When legislation or policy changes, clients expect the group’s view the same day.
The group now uses Hebno to research approved sources and draft briefings in its own formats, with one knowledge base shared across all ten offices.
“When a bill is published, clients want our view the same day. Now we have it in about an hour, and every pitch draws on what all ten offices know.”
The challenge
Advisers tracked parliaments, ministries, EU processes and media by hand. Briefings and stakeholder maps were written from scratch each time, and a same-day briefing took most of a senior adviser’s day. That left less senior time for client advice.
Each country office also kept its own archive. Little was shared between offices, even though the group positions itself as pan-European.
Why Hebno
Hebno researches approved sources only and traces every claim back to its source. It gives the group one knowledge base across all ten offices, with local access rights in place.
Output comes in the group’s own briefing and pitch formats.
How the team uses Hebno
Advisers use Hebno for policy monitoring, client briefings, stakeholder mapping and position papers. The group also uses it for pitch decks and to develop new services.
The result
Briefings now take about an hour instead of a day. The group submits around a third more pitches with the same team, and new business won across offices has nearly doubled.
