Hebno drafts emails and calendar invitations as cards in the chat. You edit every field, then select Send. Hebno never sends anything on its own, and a message goes out from your own mailbox or calendar, so recipients see you as the sender.

Connect your mail and calendar

Email and invitations need your own connection to a mail or calendar system. If your account is not connected, the card shows Connect Outlook or Connect Outlook Calendar (or the Gmail and Google Calendar equivalents). Connections are also available under Settings → Connections, where Allow sending and Allow invitations control whether Hebno may send from your account at all. Your organisation can set mail and calendar access to Read only, in which case cards can be drafted and copied but not sent.

Draft an email

Ask in chat: “Draft a follow-up to Priya about the revised timeline”, “Reply to the last email from Contoso and propose Thursday”. Hebno reads the context it needs (the thread, the project, attached files) and shows an Email card with:
  • To
  • Subject
  • Message
1

Review the card

Edit any field. Add or remove recipients, change the tone, correct a figure.
2

Ask for changes in chat

Say “make it shorter” or “add the new budget figure”. Hebno updates the card.
3

Send or dismiss

Select Send to send from your mailbox. Select Dismiss to discard the card. The card then shows Sent, or “Nothing was sent.”
The card shows the note Nothing is sent until you send it. If you ask for a research brief and a companion email in the same request, the run drafts the email from the brief in a Drafting the email step and shows it as a card.

Recipients

Name recipients the way you would to a colleague: “send this to Priya and the client sponsor”. Hebno matches names against the people in the project’s linked records, recent mail and your contacts in the connected mailbox, and fills in addresses. When a name matches more than one person, or none, the card leaves the field for you to complete. Check the To field before you send.

Draft a calendar invitation

Ask for a meeting: “Set up a 45-minute kickoff with the Contoso team next Tuesday morning”. The Calendar invitation card shows:
  • Attendees
  • Subject
  • Message
  • Start and End
When you give only a start time, the meeting runs 30 minutes. With Outlook Calendar the invitation includes a Teams meeting link. With Google Calendar it includes a Meet link.

Find a free slot

Ask Hebno to find a time: “Find a slot next week when Priya and I are both free for an hour”. Hebno reads free and busy times for you and for attendees whose calendars you can see, suggests slots, and adds the one you pick to the card. For attendees whose calendars it cannot read, it checks only yours and says so, so confirm with them.

Send

Select Send on the card. The invitation goes to attendees from your calendar and appears on yours. Select Dismiss to discard it. Confirmed sends are recorded in Admin → Logs → Integrations.
