The monday.com integration makes board status available in your client work. Ask what is stuck on an engagement, which items are due this week, or what the team posted since Monday, and Hebno answers from monday.com with each item cited. When a request implies a change, such as creating an item or changing a status, Hebno shows a confirmation card and writes to monday.com only after you confirm.

At a glance

Before you start

You need:
  • A monday.com account with access to the boards you want to use.
  • An allowed integration. An owner or admin sets monday.com to Allow under Admin → Connectors → Catalogue.
  • Approval from your monday.com account admin if they restrict app installs.
Hebno requests these OAuth scopes:

Connect monday.com

1

Start the connection

Open Settings → Connections, find monday.com and select Connect. You can also select Connect from the prompt in a chat.
2

Sign in to monday.com

Sign in, choose your account if you belong to more than one, and select Authorize.
3

Return to Hebno

The card shows Connected with your monday.com account name.
Hebno reads and writes with your own permissions, so you see only the boards you can open in monday.com, including private boards you belong to. Tokens are encrypted at rest. Select Disconnect at any time, or ask an admin to revoke the connection under Admin → Connectors → Connections.

What Hebno reads

Hebno reads column values by type, so a status column returns its label, a people column returns names and a date column returns a date. Reads are live. Hebno queries monday.com when a request needs it. Only what a reply used is stored with the conversation as its sources.
Excerpts a reply uses become part of the conversation. Anyone you share the conversation with can read them, including item values and updates from monday.com.

What Hebno writes

Every write appears first as a confirmation card. You can change any field before you select Confirm.
Confirmation card for monday.com with editable fields

A monday.com change pending confirmation. Nothing is written until you confirm.

Hebno never deletes items or boards, changes board structure or columns, edits automations, or changes account settings. Writes are made as your monday.com user, so monday.com shows you as the author. Linking marks which monday.com boards belong to an engagement, so you can ask “what is stuck?” without naming the board.
  1. Open the project and select Brain.
  2. Under Linked records, select Link record, then monday.com.
  3. Search by board name and select it. Repeat for each board in the engagement.
In chats tagged to the project, Hebno starts with the linked boards for any delivery question, and cards for new items default to them. See Linked records.

Use monday.com in chat

  • Attach: open the + menu, choose Sources → monday.com, and pick a board or an item. Or type / and choose monday.com.
  • Ask: name the board, item or person in your request. For example:
Show every item on the Contoso delivery board that is overdue or stuck, with the owner and the last update.
Draft a status update for Contoso from the board: what moved this week, what is blocked and what we need from the client.
Create an item called “Pricing model review” in the Phase 2 group, assign it to Sam and set the due date to 20 November.
  • Research runs show a Checking monday.com step, with a chip for each board and item it read.
  • Agents can read monday.com on a schedule, for example a Friday list of items that missed their due date. Writes an agent proposes appear in agent approvals for review.
